About Me
_
As a child, I would write, direct, choreograph, and star in short plays and dance numbers with my sisters and cousins as supporting cast. I was active in drama through high school, but left it all behind when I entered the "real world."
After more than a decade away, inspired by a difficult emotional period, I got back into acting at the community theater level and my passion was reignited. Two years later, armed with life experience and a couple college acting classes, I left behind my attempts at a "normal" life and shifted my focus to on-camera work as a profession.
I'm an East Coast-based, SAG-AFTRA Eligible actor
Since then I have acted in student and independent films, industrials, a web series, as well as several local and nationally aired commercials. I have spent a good deal of time on network television and studio film sets and have earned my SAG-AFTRA eligibility.
I have continued to learn about all aspects of the industry, taking not only assorted acting classes (voice-over, scene study, ??), but branching out into production and post-production. In 2012 I completed a month-long intensive program during which I became trained as a script supervisor, and in April 2013 I am taking a non-linear editing course to better understand the industry.
When I'm not on set, I enjoy traveling to National Parks, watching women's college basketball, and trying new things. Some of my more recent discoveries: laughter yoga, square-foot gardening, drawing, learning Spanish, and cheese making.
